Thanks to the Computer People. My C drive was completely full, and nothing I could do would give me space. Alison logged in and has found the problem immediately, freed up the space remotely and I am off and running again. I took my laptop in because it was running extremely slowly. I was told that they would put a new hard drive in it. They quoted a very reasonable price. After 24 hours, I called for an update. It was still running too slowly and was updating so Dave said he was not happy to let it go yet. He worked on it for a few days, eventually finding that it was my anti-virus software which was causing problems. As my car was off the road, Dave delivered the laptop back to my home at 7am, on way to the office. Brilliant service, good prices and lovely people to deal with. Thank you

Last Thursday my laptop "died" i could not access any part of the system and after googling the issue (via my ipad) believed it to be the hard drive. The laptop got taken in the shop and on Tuesday - having replaced the hard drive and recovered all my files it is back with me. Dave assessed there was not a problem with memory (as there was plenty) but the disk inside was starting to fail. If, like me, you use a computer because you have to, and you haven't a clue what goes on 'underneath the bonnet', our technical ignorance knows no boundaries. This means I need to rely on somebody / company to help when I swear at my 'I.T' in sheer frustration. Having met Dave and Ali at Networking meetings, their approach made such sense that I thought 'fine, give it a go' - I'm delighted I did. There are many so called 'Mac' specialists, in. practice they are learning on the job, The Computer People know exactly what they are doing with Mac, and 'the other' system who claim to be 'soft and small'. Nothing is too much trouble, their staff are a pleasure to deal with and are equally proficient. If you have any problems ( as opposed to issues) don't hesitate to ask these guys, they're great and I'm glad to have found them. Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, their pricing is eminently fair too. Top marks!

Computer and IT companies often don't have the best of reputation. They seem to charge a lot for something we do not know a lot about.

Imagine my surprise when asking for the best laptop for the work I do - I was asked what laptop I had! Why? Because they suggested swapping the existing disk drive for an SSD drive and an upgrade of the RAM.

Not only did it save me a lot of money - it was all done within the day!

At the same time they found that the laptop battery had started to 'bubble' - never knew they would or could, but they showed me...The new battery is now on order.

Oodles of money and much time saved - and no redundant laptop either

I am Chairman of New Romney Bowls club also Chairman of the Paula Carr diabetes Trust. I totally agree with the post published about the Computer people Ltd. They regenerated the bowls club computer when we thought it was finished. Not only did they get it back up and running, they improved its speed, making it more efficient. Our diabetes Trust purchases laptops for children whose families can't afford a computer to download their diabetes data. Since dealing with the computer people, our computer costs have gone down as the efficiency of our computers has gone up. Nothing is too much trouble for Alison, David and the team and nothing is too expensive. I totally trust them and thoroughly recommend them. Romney Marsh residents are very lucky to have them in their vicinity.
